GeoSolutions is a company composed by experienced geospatial IT experts with diverse backgrounds but a common strong commitment to providing innovative, robust, cost-effective solutions by employing cutting edge open source technologies. GeoSolutions was founded in 2006 by Ing. Simone Giannecchini and Ing. Alessio Fabiani.

Our fields of expertise include enteprise geospatial data fusion, enteprise geospatial data management and dissemination via OGC services, image processing, 2D advanced visualizations techniques and distributed applications. It is worth to point out our extensive expertise with JPEG2000 and JPIP as well as with Java Enterprise technologies like Spring, JBoss and JAX-WS.

GeoSolutions team members are core contributors to various successful Open Source project like GeoServer,  uDig,  GeoTools and imageio-ext . Our clients include organizations like FAO, NURC, Italian National Research Council as well as private companies like ITT-VIS INTECS and Ambrero.
