Dear Reader, In recent days, news of a new GeoServer vulnerability, CVE-2023-35042, has been released and has drawn some attention on Twitter and on some security related websites. According to NIST, the vulnerability is “undergoing analysis”. At the same time, the report has been opened without any report to the GeoServer project. GeoServer release 2.21.3

Dear Reader, we are happy to announce the latest release of GeoServer, version 2.21.3, which is now available on the GeoServer website. This is a maintenance release of the GeoServer 2.21.x series, made in conjunction with GeoTools 27.3 and GeoWebCache 1.21.3 by Andrea Aime (GeoSolutions) and Jody Garnett (GeoCat).
